Tom Arena

Tom Arena has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tom started their career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Cal Poly Orfalea College of Business from September 2012 to June 2015, where they provided tutoring to students and assisted with data cleaning for faculty research projects.

Tom then worked as a Data Analyst at Zodiac Aerospace from April 2015 to February 2016, where they developed forecasting models for manufacturing processes and built employee performance dashboards.

Tom later joined MINDBODY, Inc. in March 2016 as a Data Analyst, where they analyzed the impact of employee allocation on customer wait times and provided tools and analysis for multiple departments such as Customer Service, Finance, Legal, HR, and Sales. Tom also refactored a compensation calculation program to align with the sales compensation strategy.

In March 2018, Tom transitioned to Pearce Services as a Technical Business Systems Analyst. Tom managed users, reports, and declarative automations in Salesforce and provided operational and financial analysis to the Operations team.

In January 2021, they were promoted to a Senior Business Systems Analyst role at Pearce Services, where they extended Salesforce using declarative tools and Apex to automate business processes. Tom also managed a Snowflake data warehouse containing data from multiple business systems and integrated Salesforce, NetSuite, Paylocity, ArcGIS, and Snowflake using SnapLogic and Apex.

Tom's most recent position at Pearce Services is as an Enterprise System Developer, starting from March 2023. In this role, they design and implements projects across various platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Paylocity, ArcGIS, Snowflake, and SnapLogic. Tom is responsible for managing integration projects with customer systems.

Tom Arena attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Economics, focusing on the fields of Econometrics and Quantitative Economics.
