Fred Joyal

Fred Joyal is currently a Senior Advisor at Pearly, but they have an extensive work history that spans over 30 years. Fred started their career as a Copywriter at Benton & Bowles before becoming the Co-Founder and Owner of 1-800-DENTIST, where they also served as the President for 32 years. In their most recent role as President of Futuredontics, Inc., they oversaw the company for 30 years before moving on to their current position.

Throughout their career, Fred has become an expert on developing confidence and boldness, and they now write and lectures on the topic using a system called The PRIDE Method. Fred also coaches CEOs on how to create an extraordinary business culture based on their own experience running a successful company. In addition to their work in the corporate world, Fred is also a published author with multiple books to their credit.

Fred Joyal attended the University of Rhode Island from 1976 to 1979, studying Creative Writing and French. Fred was also a member of the rugby club. In 1979, they were awarded an honorary Doctor of Arts from the University of Rhode Island for starting a short film competition at the school. Fred Joyal also attended Boston College from 1971 to 1973, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing.
