Patrick Short

Patrick Short has a diverse work experience in the construction and materials industry. Patrick currently holds the position of Vice President of Pearson Materials at Pearson Construction, LLC since April 2022. Previously, they worked at Summit Materials as the President of Cornejo & Sons from December 2018 to April 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at Cornejo & Sons and Summit Materials, including Vice President of Aggregates, Performance Manager, and Operations Manager. Patrick started their career at Con Agg of MO, LLC in 2004, where they served as a Quarry Manager until October 2010. Before that, they worked at SSS, Inc as an Engineer/Supervisor from November 1999 to August 2004. Patrick'searly career was with CONSOL Energy, where they held the position of Mine Manager - Longwall Coordinator from May 1993 to November 1999.

Patrick Short earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mining Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Patrick further pursued their education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, General, completing their studies between 1991 and 1993.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Patrick has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn.
