Annette Thomas

Annette Thomas is a Non-Executive Director at Pearson. Annette was previously the Chief Executive at Guardian Media Group, PLC from March 2020 to July 2021. Prior to that, they were a Board member of Cambridge Assessment, Cambridge University Press and OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA) from January 2019 to February 2020. From January 2017 to September 2019, they were the Chief Executive of Web of Science Group at Clarivate Analytics. In 2016, they were an Advisor at Bain Capital Ventures. Annette is also a Trustee Fellow (Non Executive) of the Yale Corporation (Board of Trustees) at Yale University.

Annette Thomas received their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Harvard University. Annette then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Yale University.
