Birendra Illeperuma

Birendra Illeperuma, PMP, MBCS, is an accomplished Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in project management across multiple organizations. Currently employed at Pearson since October 2015, Birendra serves as a SCRUM Master and is part of the PMO, focusing on providing technology-based applications to enhance learning opportunities globally. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Aeturnum, where Birendra managed end-to-end project management for BPO model development, and positions at Virtusa as a Consultant in Delivery Management, and AKLO IT, specializing in distance education and various management sectors. Birendra’s career began at Ecode Lanka and Sentra Super City, where contributions included IT infrastructure management and customer service oversight. Educationally, Birendra holds a diploma from NIBM, completed in 2001.
