Clare Buckland

Clare Buckland is an experienced educator with extensive expertise in chemistry and science leadership. Currently serving as an Edexcel A Level Examiner at Pearson since March 2024, Clare has held various significant positions including Head of Chemistry at Tanglin Trust School and KS4 Science Coordinator at British School Muscat. Previous roles include Head of Science at Laude San Pedro International College and Head of Chemistry and KS3, 2i/c Science at Fullbrook School. Clare's educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from UCL, a Postgraduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management from Kingston University, and a PGCE in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, among other qualifications. Additionally, Clare has been an IB Examiner for HL Chemistry since 2015, demonstrating a commitment to high educational standards and assessment.
