Daniela Rego

Daniela Rego possesses extensive experience in language education and assessment, currently serving as the GCE Portuguese Principal Examiner and Content Author at Pearson since May 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing the assessment process and ensuring alignment with the syllabus. Daniela has also worked as an examiner for GCE A Level Portuguese and has been involved with the International Baccalaureate as a Higher Level Written Assignment and Paper Two Examiner since February 2015. Additional roles include evaluating Portuguese language proficiency at Cambridge International Education and assessing language exams for The Language Shop Ltd. Teaching positions have included instructing Sixth Form students at Saint Francis Xavier College and providing tutoring for the IB programme at the International School of Bangkok. Daniela Rego holds an MA in Intercultural Communications for Business and Professions from Birkbeck, University of London, and two BA degrees in Portuguese Studies from the University of Lisbon.
