Darren Evans

Darren Evans is an experienced educational professional with a career spanning over two decades in sports and public services education. Since July 2009, Darren has served as Head of Bicton College and Head of dBs Music at The Cornwall College Group, where responsibilities include managing curriculum and quality standards, providing support with achievement data, and leading staff training initiatives. Additionally, Darren has held various roles at Pearson, overseeing quality assurance as a Lead Standards Verifier and conducting annual reviews of educational centers. Previously, Darren worked as Programme Manager for Sport at YMCA Plymouth and held teaching roles at Plymouth City Council and Boundstone Community College, focusing on physical education and sport. Darren holds a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the University of Chichester.
