David Wiese

David Wiese has extensive experience in education and content development, with roles spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Associate Director of the Summer English Language Studies Program at UC Berkeley since June 2010, Wiese also functions as a material developer and instructor. Wiese has been with Pearson Education since 2008 as an author and material developer and has held various adjunct professor positions at institutions including The New School, New York University, and the University of San Francisco from 2006 to 2019. Additional experience includes a role as Submissions Editor for CATESOL Journal from December 2016 to December 2018 and as a content writer for AMIDEAST from December 2018 to August 2019. Wiese holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science: International Relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master's degree in TESOL from Columbia University Teachers College.
