Donna Hutchison, Ph.D., is a seasoned leader in the field of education with extensive experience in developing and managing educational partnerships and policy. Currently serving as Senior Vice President/Vice President at Pearson since April 2016, Donna leads the Educational Partnerships and State Policy team, generating over $50 million annually through new enterprise partnerships and advocating for educational policies focused on school choice for Pearson Virtual Schools. Prior roles include Vice President for the Western Region at Connections Academy, where Donna established significant partnerships with key educational stakeholders, and CEO/Superintendent of Idaho Digital Learning, which involved founding the state virtual school. Additionally, Donna has contributed to academia as Adjunct Faculty at Boise State University and as Director of the Department of Educational Technology at the same institution. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Idaho, a Master's in Educational Technology from Boise State University, and a Bachelor's degree in MIS/Marketing from the University of Virginia.
