Freya Thomas Monk

Freya Thomas Monk currently serves as the Managing Director at Pearson since October 2004, overseeing Pearson School Qualifications and Vocational Qualifications and Training. Freya has held various leadership roles within Pearson, including Senior Vice President of Pearson Tests of English, which has expanded significantly to serve learners in over 100 countries. Prior experience includes consulting at Odgers, Ray & Berndtson, where advice was provided on corporate governance recommendations for FTSE Boards, and serving as Principal at Quidnunc, leading the development of the UK’s first online car retailer. Earlier career experience includes a Business Analyst position at McKinsey. Freya holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Psychology & Physiology from the University of Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD.
