Jane Russell

Jane Russell has over two decades of experience in examination and education, currently serving as an Examiner for AQA exam board since June 2002 and as a Senior Examiner for Edexcel & Pearson UK since June 2001. Jane has also held roles as a Principal Examiner for OCR, focusing on Critical Thinking at the A2 level, and worked as a lecturer in various institutions including Community Education Lewisham and Christ the King, Aquinas 6th Form College, specializing in Sociology and Politics. As a self-employed author, Jane has contributed extensively to the fields of history, biography, and political analysis, particularly with a focus on Sri Lanka. Jane holds a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from St Hilda's College, Oxford, and a Ph.D. in the Political History of Sri Lanka from Peradeniya University.
