Jenny Maxwell

Jenny Maxwell is currently a PhD Candidate and Researcher at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, where active research work continues since September 2019. Alongside this role, Jenny serves as a Team Leader at Pearson, supervising and mentoring Assessment Associates in Art & Design Qualifications, ensuring adherence to national standards across GCE moderation. As a musician, Jenny collaborates with Peter Perrett, contributing electric violin, synth, lap steel, percussion, and backing vocals, while also participating in the production of Perrett's critically acclaimed albums. In songwriting, Jenny is signed with Universal Music Publishing Group, recognized for a distinctive style compared to iconic artists. Jenny's educational background includes an MRes in Art: Theory and Philosophy from the University of the Arts London, a PGDE in Art Education from Canterbury Christ Church University through the Teach First program, and a BA in History of Art from the University of St Andrews. Jenny's teaching experience spans 13 years, primarily in a challenging London secondary comprehensive school.
