John Fisher

John Fisher has extensive experience in construction, civil engineering, and education, currently working as a Standards Verifier for Pearson and NHBC, alongside roles as an Associate Lecturer at University Centre Somerset. Previous positions include Director of Compliance, Training, and Governance at Grass Roots Power, and various leadership roles at Petroc, where focus was placed on developing higher education pathways and delivering sustainable resource management courses. Prior to this, John founded a freelance consulting practice managing multimillion-pound construction projects and held a leadership position in the British Army, specializing in training and development. John holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of Exeter and a Certificate in Education from the University of Plymouth.
