Kate Edwards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational leadership and research. Currently serving as Senior Vice President Efficacy & Learning and Chief Learning Officer at Pearson since September 2010, Kate has held various senior positions focusing on efficacy and research in global education. Prior roles include serving as Executive Director and Senior Associate in the Office of Sir Michael Barber. Kate's earlier experience includes work at GEMS Education and a decade at Villiers Park Education Trust, where courses for gifted students and professional development for educators were designed and led. Additionally, Kate has significant academic experience as a lecturer in Human Geography at Aberystwyth University and the University of Cambridge, where a PhD in Human Geography was obtained.
