Laura Howe

Laura Howe is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in corporate and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Communications at Pearson since May 2015, Laura has been instrumental in shaping the company’s global public reputation, having previously held roles such as Vice President of North America Corporate Affairs and Global Innovation Communications. Prior to Pearson, Laura spent 14 years at the American Red Cross National Headquarters, managing media relations and overseeing public affairs during major national disasters. Laura began their career in journalism, reporting and anchoring for various television stations, including ABC 33/40 and WAAY-TV. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
