Lisa McClain

Lisa McClain has extensive experience in acquisitions and editorial roles within the publishing industry, particularly in technology and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Portfolio Manager for Enterprise Content and Training at Pearson since September 2025, Lisa previously held the position of Acquisitions Editor for Wiley, focusing on robotics, automation, and mobility from November 2023 to September 2025. Prior to this, Lisa was a Senior Acquisitions Editor at McGraw Hill from June 2016 to July 2023, where responsibilities included acquiring and developing content for IT certifications among other subject areas. Earlier experience includes managing the Apple Alliance Program at Pearson Education and significant roles at McGraw-Hill Education Professional Publishing and other publishing firms, demonstrating a robust skill set in content acquisition, market development, and corporate partnerships. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Dominican University.
