Luis Silva

Luis Silva is currently the English Language Assessment Manager for High-stakes Tests at Pearson, a position they began in 2024. Previously, they served as an Assessment Manager for Cambridge University Press & Assessment and Oxford University Press. With extensive experience in English language assessment, they have also worked as a Commissioning Editor for Cambridge University Press and held roles in freelance editing and project management from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their professional commitments, Luis is pursuing multiple degrees, including Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of the Andes and Aberystwyth University, respectively. They have been teaching Spanish to adults at Hills Road Sixth Form College since 2004.
