Michael Young

Michael Young has extensive experience in the publishing industry, particularly in educational content. Since July 2006, Michael has served as Vice President and Editorial Director of Science at Pearson Education, where responsibilities have expanded to include General Manager for Higher Education. Prior roles include Vice President and Editorial Director at Pearson Education Canada from 1999 to 2006, and similar positions at The Thomson Corporation from 1994 to 1999. Michael's career began as an Acquisitions Editor at Harcourt Brace from 1988 to 1993, following a role as Eastern Regional Sales Manager at Copp Clarke Pitman between 1988 and 1990. Educationally, Michael attended the University of Toronto in 1985-1986.
