Mona Field

Mona Field possesses extensive experience in education, leadership, and community service. As an author since 1984 for Pearson, Mona has contributed significantly to the field of government and politics with the publication of "California Government and Politics Today - 15th edition." Mona's active involvement in various boards includes positions with the Los Angeles Community College District Foundation and the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Charter High School. Leadership roles within the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles highlight Mona's commitment to civic engagement, including serving as President. Previous educational positions include serving as a Political Science professor at Glendale Community College and leadership roles with the California Federation of Teachers. Mona holds an MA in Sociology and Political Science from California State University, Los Angeles, and a BA in Social Relations from Immaculate Heart College.
