Pedro Vasconcellos

Pedro Vasconcellos is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in corporate development, venture capital, and strategy, currently serving as Vice President of Ventures and Innovation at Pearson since September 2014. Under this role, Pedro has focused on investing, acquiring, and partnering with innovative companies to shape the future of education. Previous positions at Pearson include Vice President of Global Marketing for English and Vice President of Higher Education, where Pedro achieved significant revenue growth and operational automation. In addition to their corporate roles, Pedro serves as a board observer or member for several organizations, including Nexford University, Velocity Career Labs, and Smashcut, among others. Pedro holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Laws from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and a Bachelor in Corporate and Tax Law from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
