Sarah Lawrence

Sarah Lawrence has extensive experience in internal controls and auditing, currently serving as the Senior Director of Controls Operations at Pearson since September 2012, where leadership of the international Internal Controls team focuses on SOX compliance and internal controls. Previous roles include Internal Audit Director at Pearson, overseeing financial and operational audits outside the Americas, and Senior Manager Internal Audit, managing a UK-based team. Prior to Pearson, Sarah Lawrence was with the National Audit Office, leading financial audits for government bodies and contributing to the publication 'Cost reduction in central government: summary of progress' in February 2012. Early career experience includes positions as an Assistant Auditor at easyJet and Logistics Assistant at Fujitsu. Sarah Lawrence holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and a Bachelor of Arts in French with Sociology from the University of Warwick.
