Scott Dunn is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in developing and managing technology solutions across various industries. Currently, as Director of Engineering for Learning Solutions at Pearson VUE and Head of Engineering at Pearson Advance, Scott leads product engineering for the Open edX platform while managing an offshore team. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at edX, overseeing a non-profit learning delivery platform, and Director of Software Development at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, leading a large team focused on the Verizon Cloud Compute platform. Scott's career also features significant achievements at Litle & Co. in developing a high-availability payment processing platform, and at Sonus Networks, where Scott contributed to the award-winning management system for IP telephony solutions. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University.
