Spandan Basnet currently serves as an OET Interlocutor at OET, where responsibilities include facilitating the speaking component of the OET exam for healthcare professionals. Since September 2011, Spandan has been a Life Member of the Human Rights & Peace Foundation Nepal, actively promoting and campaigning for basic rights and freedoms. Previous roles include Database Administrator at VajraTech, handling database configuration, security, and performance tuning from July 2017 to December 2019, and a summer internship at Verscend Technologies Pvt. Ltd, focusing on big data processing and analysis using Hadoop and Spark in mid-2016. Spandan holds a BSc in Computing (Hons) with a specialization in Information Technology from Leeds Beckett University, completed in 2016, and earlier academic qualifications in Science from Trinity International College and The Excelsior School.
