Tim Young

Tim Young serves as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources Operations at Pearson, overseeing a global HR team of over 250 professionals supporting tens of thousands of employees across 60 countries. With extensive experience at Cisco, Tim has held various senior roles, including Head of People Experience Enablement and Head of Global Payroll, where initiatives focused on employee engagement and payroll modernization were implemented. Prior to work in HR, Tim gained legal experience through clerkships at the US Securities and Exchange Commission and Kim & Chang. Tim's foundational skills were developed during military service as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Tim holds a Juris Doctorate from BYU Law School, an MBA from Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Brigham Young University.
