Vanessa Gaudyn

Vanessa Gaudyn, M.Ed., BCBA, serves as a Special Populations Consultant at Pearson since September 2021, where responsibilities include conducting learning needs analysis, designing educational solutions, and improving compliance and outcomes in special education. Previously, as an Educational Consultant at SchoolWorks, LLC, Vanessa advised on budget planning and co-authored an influencing early childhood trend report. As the Director of PreK Innovation at United Way for Greater Austin, Vanessa secured over $1 million in support of partnership initiatives. Prior roles at Chicago Public Schools included Director of Early Childhood Special Education, where over $2 million was secured for innovative service delivery, and Administrator for Instructional Coaching, improving teacher performance significantly. Early career experience includes teaching special education. Vanessa holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Loyola University Chicago.
