Sierra Alea

Sierra Alea has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Sierra is currently the Co-Founder & COO at Peat, a position they have held since February 2021. Sierra is also an Angel Investor at The Council, starting in April 2023. Sierra serves as a Board Member at Women and Climate, beginning in January 2023.

Before their current roles, Sierra worked as the Interim COO at HOM (iamhom.com) from January 2019 to February 2021. Prior to that, they were a Yoga Instructor at YogaWorks, Inc. from February 2016 to July 2019. Sierra also gained experience as an Investment Associate at Wetherby Asset Management from May 2011 to February 2016, and as a Paraplanner at catalyst financial planner from July 2010 to April 2011.

Sierra's early career involved working as an Audit Associate at RSM US LLP from August 2008 to October 2009.

Sierra Alea pursued their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business, starting in 2003 and graduating in 2008. After a gap of several years, they continued their education by enrolling at the University of San Francisco in 2020. During their time there, they completed a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management, which they achieved in 2021.
