Kyle Tran began their professional career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Claria, where they designed and developed a Web Base Application system to assist in the staffing of personnel. In 2001, they moved to TrueSAN as a Software Engineer, where they participated in architecting and developing Cloudbreak, a storage operating system. In 2004, they joined Attune Systems as a Software Engineer and lead a development team to create an embedded client-server management system. Kyle then moved to Brocade Communications in 2005 as a Software Engineer, where they participated in three releases of Fabric Manager, working on both server and client side. In 2007, they joined MaxiScale as a Principal Engineer and helped develop a management system for MaxiScale cloud file storage cluster. In 2010, they became a Software Architect at Barnes & Noble, where they were part of the Cloud Service team responsible for supporting the Nook and NookColor. Kyle then moved to PayPal in 2011 as a Software Engineer, where they built out QA environment for PayPal TurboRoller and architected and implemented RM LabelMaker and RE Orchestration tools. In 2014, they returned to Peaxy, Inc. as a System Management Manager/Principal Software Engineer and worked in the area of System Management for the Aureum product. In 2018, they moved to Cisco as a Software Engineer Manager, where they managed 6 to 9 TestOps engineers and developed QDNA. Currently, they are an Engineer Manager/Principal Engineer at Peaxy, Inc., working on Peaxy Lifecycle Intelligence (PLI) suite and responsible for capturing customer requirements and running a small agile group to develop the software to meet the customers feature request.

Kyle Tran attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and a BS in Aerospace.
