Peter Steele

Peter Steele has over 25 years of experience in software engineering. Peter began their career in 1994 as the Manager of Software Engineering for Entia Technology Limited. In 1996, they moved to Brooklyn North Software Works, Inc. as the Lead Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of the company's software development in C++ and Visual Basic under Windows NT. In 1997, they joined Allen Telecom, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. Peter then moved to ONI Systems/CIENA Corp. in 1999, where they were the Lead Software Engineer. In 2002, they were promoted to Release and Tools Manager. Peter then moved to Attune Systems Incorporated in 2004 as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2005, they joined Network Appliance Inc. as a Release and Tools Engineer, where they developed tools in Perl and C++. In 2007, they moved to MaxiScale Incorporated as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2010, they joined Overland Storage Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2012, they moved to Peaxy, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer.

Peter Steele obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Computer Science from Acadia University in 1980. Peter then went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Computer Science from the same institution in 1982.
