Lead backend and cloud engineer at Pebblebee

Gaston Lifschitz has worked in the software development field since 2018. Gaston began their career as the CTO of Biff, a start-up focused on optimizing and improving resources for restaurants while enhancing customer experience. During this role, they developed a platform using React Native, NodeJs, Firebase, and MongoDB. In 2019, they joined IBM as a Software Developer, where they prototyped development focused on innovation for the sales department using multiple programming languages and IBM services. Their most notable project was a system for the Buenos Aires City government of Argentina to keep track on the main inventory, staff and available beds of all the public hospitals in Buenos Aires. In 2021, they joined Pebblebee as a Lead Backend and Cloud Engineer, where they are responsible for backend development and managing a cloud architecture on AWS across several critical projects. Gaston is also delivering high quality code using Node with TypeScript as a primary language and using several databases, such as MySQL, Dynamo and ElasticSearch.

Gaston Lifschitz attended Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 2016 to 2022, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería informática. In 2022, they completed an exchange program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Computer Software Engineering.
