At Fundacja Pedra, our mission is simple yet impactful: to create a better tomorrow through action, collaboration, and innovation. Our core values champion openness, respect, and the appreciation of global diversity. Pedra's vision focuses on an inclusive society, and to realize this, we partner strategically to remove barriers, equipping individuals with vital digital skills for today's digital age. As proponents of social entrepreneurship, we're at the forefront of driving transformative solutions.
Our expert team collaborates with diverse organizations, crafting strategies that promote civic participation. We aim to elevate the quality and inclusivity of upskilling and reskilling opportunities for both the young and adult populations. A significant part of our mandate involves assisting international entities in harnessing the opportunities offered by programs from institutions like the European Commission and the European Union.
Pedra is also committed to educational and professional development, often in collaboration with the Erasmus+ framework.
Some of our initiatives include:
- #SupportMe: Elevating "La Tartaruga" staff's expertise, we introduced holistic methodologies, emphasizing the well-being of special-needs children.
- SEASON: Empowering socially-excluded NEETs, birthing social enterprises and crafting an ecosystem conducive to inclusive entrepreneurship.
- TAC: A robust stand against hate speech and cyberbullying, empowering youth workers with tools and strategies, aligning with Youth Sector Strategy 2030.
- PEABE: Promoting marine sustainability and project management within Erasmus+.
- EUFEGE: A bold stride against gender disparity in the entrepreneurial domain, reinforced with targeted financial literacy training.
- TALE: A green initiative elevating youth workers' acumen in climate change awareness, the EU Green Deal, and innovative education.
