Steve Brechner has held various roles throughout their career. In 2004, they worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Grupo Quanam until 2006. Steve then joined Morgan Benjamin as a Business Intelligence Consultant in 2007 for a few months. In 2009, they started their career at McKinsey & Company, where they served as an Associate until 2011 and later became an Engagement Manager until 2014.
In 2014, Steve joined OLX Group, where they held multiple positions. Steve began as a Special Projects Manager in 2014 and then became the Operations and Innovation Director until 2016. Steve then became the Monetization Director until late 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they took on the role of General Manager - Emerging Markets at letgo.
Later, in 2016, Steve joined OLX Group again, but this time as the VP of Strategy & Product until 2017. In 2018, they briefly served as the VP of Strategy ALMEA (Africa, Latin America, Middle East & Asia) at OLX Group.
Most recently, in 2020, Steve co-founded Peerforum and currently holds the position of Co-Founder & CEO.
Steve Brechner has a diverse education history. From 1999 to 2004, they attended Universidad ORT Uruguay, where they focused on Software Engineering. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued an MBA degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
