Rocio is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School, with previous degrees including a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Bridgeport. PeerForward's mission is to unleash the power of positive peer influence to transform the lives of youth living in low-income communities by connecting them to college and careers. Formerly known as College Summit, PeerForward taps a readily available resource found in every high school - influential students - to improve postsecondary success outcomes. We train and support teams of students on the planning and admissions process for higher education. Those teams of students return to their high schools and run campaigns to guide and assist their peers on the path to college. Our partner high schools show 26% higher rates of financial aid applications when compared to similar schools, and see their college enrollment increase by an average of 20%.
