Peter Cecconi

Peter Brant Cecconi was born in 1970 as one of 7 children to Pete and JoLane Cecconi in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He is a 1989 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic where he was an all-district golfer and 4 year Letterman. He is a 1993 graduate of UNC Wilmington where with a degree in accounting and minor in IT systems. He graduated in 4 years and was consistently on the dean’s list and finished as one of the top 5 graduates in the school of accounting.

After graduation he began a career in banking working for First Union and later BB&T banks. In 1996 he went to work with a technology infrastructure startup where he contributed to its rapid growth. Then in 1998 he started Peerless Communications Inc where he has been President and CEO ever since. He has been a Registered Communications Distribution Designer since 2003.

Peter is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the YMCA and works as a mentor to disadvantaged children through the We Build People program. He is a member of the downtown Raleigh Rotary club where he was a former board member, a Paul Harris Fellow and member of the Lester Woodall Society. He is also a Vistage member. Peter is married to Jennifer Green of Raleigh. They have two children, Brant was born in October 2017 and Amelia born in July 2020. Pete and Jennifer live in the North Ridge area of North Raleigh.
