Jaclyn Roeber is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in various teaching and leadership roles within educational institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Content Designer and Math Curriculum Designer at PeerTeach since March 2023, Jaclyn has previously worked as a School Implementation Specialist and Middle School Math Teacher within the Casa Grande Elementary School District from October 2020 to June 2024. With a commitment to personalized and engaging learning experiences, Jaclyn has instructed students across multiple grade levels, including fifth to eighth grades, and has taken on leadership roles such as Dean of Academics and Math Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

PeerTeach
Built at Stanford, PeerTeach is a data-driven platform that facilitates peer to peer teaching and learning in math classrooms grades 4-12. PeerTeach trains all students in a class to be effective peer tutors using gamified tutor-training modules. Then it uses data on student compatibility, mastery, and past peer tutoring sessions to optimize matches for bursts of peer tutoring to fill in students’ learning gaps. Every student receives support when they need it and every student coaches others when they have mastery, boosting their own understanding through teaching.
