Patrick Johnson has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Patrick is currently serving as the Senior Vice President - Energy Group at Pegasus Bank, where they specialize in providing energy banking services to small to mid-sized oil and gas companies. Before joining Pegasus Bank, they worked as the Director of Energy Lending at Veritex Community Bank. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President Energy Group at Sovereign Bank (Texas). As for their previous roles, Patrick served as a LtCol in the USMC Reserves and worked at 24 Street Ventures LLC as a Managing Director, providing advisory services to private-equity funds and E&P companies. Patrick also held positions at DKRW Advanced Fuels, Enron Corporation, JPMorgan Chase, Simmons & Company International, and Jefferies & Company, where they gained experience in business development, structured finance, equity research, and investment management.
Patrick Johnson completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Spanish at William & Mary from 1985 to 1989. Patrick then pursued further education and attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Accounting from Tulane University from 1993 to 1995.
