John D. Smith has over two decades of experience in the technology and public sector industries. Currently serving as Practice Lead for the Public Sector at Pegasystems since May 2014, John has previously held key positions including Business Development Manager and Engagement Manager at OpenText from January 2010 to January 2014. Prior roles include Federal Practice Manager at Metastorm from July 2006 to January 2010 and Senior Software Engineer at FC Business Systems from 2003 to 2005. John also worked at Metastorm, Inc. as a Senior PS Consultant from 1999 to 2003. John D. Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Computer Information Systems from JMU College of Business in 1992.
