Mark Hurd is an Experience Design leader with nearly 20 years of expertise advocating for user-centered design methodologies. After self-teaching HTML and creating their first website in 1997, Mark progressed through various roles, gaining insights into crafting ideal user experiences. Mark joined Pega in 2011 as a User Experience Architect, contributing to the growth of the Experience Design consulting organization and championing empathetic design practices. In their current role as Director, Mark oversees a talented team of Experience Designers and UI Solutions Developers in North America, mentoring others in Experience Design and accessibility while ensuring high-quality project delivery. Mark holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Information Systems from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.
