Stijn Kas

Stijn Kas is a Data Scientist at Pegasystems since November 2020, specializing in adaptive models, MLOps, monitoring, and GenAI systems. Prior to this role, Stijn served as an Intern in Decision Management & A.I., researching online machine learning applications in business processes, with results presented at ICPM 2021. Stijn also holds experience as a Lecturer and mentor at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and conducted research during a Graduation Internship focused on modeling in blockchain projects, which was published at the Business Process Management Conference 2020. Earlier experience includes a Data Science Internship at NS, where Stijn applied machine learning to enhance data quality in maintenance records. Stijn holds a Master of Science in Business Informatics from Utrecht University, along with an Honours programme and a Bachelor of Science in Business IT & Management from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and completed a minor in Investing at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
