Jamie Schlinkmann, CEO of Automatic Manufacturing Systems, founded Pelagion inspired to electrify his favorite childhood pastime, a 1973 Kawasaki stand-up jet ski serial number KAWOO2130373. Since then, the team has leveraged the efficient power of hydrofoils and paved the way for the first stand-up electric hydrofoil with steering capabilities, the HydroBlade. 

Anyone who has ridden an efoil board and overcome the learning curve of just getting up can attest to the amount of attention required to stay foiling, especially when wave conditions aren't ideal. At Pelagion, we embraced the challenge of making this exponentially easier by creating the HydroBlade. With its powerful dual motor assembly, we aimed to enhance the rider experience through higher performance, improved safety, and easier maneuvering.
