Janice Kato

Janice Kato has extensive experience in business development and corporate communications, currently serving as Director of Business Development and Corporate Communications at Pelatron Technologies, LLC since July 2015. Previously, Janice held the role of Director of Corporate Communications and Business Development at Pelatron, Inc. from August 2011 to July 2015. Janice began their career at the High Technology Development Corporation, working as Federal Programs Manager from 1992 until August 2011. In this role, Janice provided counseling and consulting for small technology and manufacturing firms in Hawaii, connecting them to federal R&D funding programs and enhancing their business processes, while also managing the Hawaii SBIR matching grant and assistance program, and administering the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership program in Hawaii.
