Pelican PMS is the Portfolio Management Service offered by Pelican Holdings Private Limited, Chennai (SEBI Registration No. INP000006891). The investment philosophy is founded on quantitative, model-based frameworks that aim to minimise subjectivity and behavioural bias in investment decisions. Rather than relying on discretionary top-down macro views or bottom-up stock selection, the approach follows systematic models that respond objectively to valuation, momentum, and relative performance dynamics. This ensures participation across market cycles while maintaining consistency, transparency, and disciplined execution.

Our process integrates structured deployment, defined holding horizons, and periodic model reviews. Distinct frameworks are applied for medium-term and long-term investing, each designed to align portfolio exposure with valuation bands and earnings cycles. The long-term framework emphasises staged deployment during undervaluation and patient holding through compounding phases, while the medium-term framework follows calibrated rebalancing guided by model signals. Both approaches are designed to reduce noise, avoid emotional reactions to short-term volatility, and deliver stable, risk-adjusted performance over time.

Research and adaptability are central to our process. Models are continually tested, refined, and extended to new dimensions as data availability, market structure, and behavioural insights evolve. Future investment approaches, too, are expected to be quantitative and rules-based, reinforcing our belief that consistency and emotional neutrality drive long-term wealth creation more effectively than prediction or intuition.

Our role is to translate complex market movements into a simple, disciplined path toward financial independence.

Our enduring purpose remains clear:

We are in the business of helping people create annuity for milestones and second-life cash flow.
