Michael Stanton

Michael Stanton is currently the VP of Tax and Treasurer at Peloton. Michael has over 12 years of experience in tax, with a focus on tax planning, M&A transactions, business restructuring, tax compliance, and tax controversy. Prior to joining Peloton, Michael was the Group Tax Leader at Stryker Corp, responsible for tax matters in the Orthopaedics & Spine Group and GQO Group. Before that, they were a Tax Manager at KPMG and a Tax Senior Consultant at Deloitte. Michael also has experience in investment portfolio management and developing complex investment strategies from their time as an Investment Advisor at Wachovia Securities LLC. Michael started their career at AG Edwards & Sons, Inc. which was acquired by Wachovia Securities at the end of 2007.

Michael Stanton graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Michael then attended Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where they earned their Doctor of Law degree with a concentration in taxation. Michael Stanton is certified as an admitted attorney in both the State of New York and the State of New Jersey.
