Tim Roberts

Tim Roberts is a highly experienced engineer specializing in computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Staff Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer at Peloton Interactive since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tim worked at Apple as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer for the  Vision Pro and held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Blue River Technology, focusing on computer vision and machine learning. Tim's leadership experience includes serving as VP of Engineering at Visby, where an AI-powered light-field video encoding and decoding solution was developed. Earlier career roles include Senior Electrical Engineer at Raytheon and Quantitative Software Developer at SAC Capital. Tim holds a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Information Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from Cornell University.
