With more than three decades of unparalleled experience, service, and market knowledge, the team is consistently ranked both nationally and in California among the top real estate professionals. PHS is led by Charles Pence, John Hathorn, Loraine Silver, and Brett Silver, all of whom are founding partners of Partners Trust's flagship office on Montana Avenue.

Pence Hathorn Silver offers a 'Gold Standard' approach to serving clientele and unmatched intimate knowledge of Westside neighborhoods, an ethos mirrored by Partners Trust's industry-leading brokerage model, ultimately bringing the two powerhouses together in 2010. Since then, PHS has grown to a team of 13 associates and has been instrumental in Partners Trust's expansion to 240 associates and seven offices across Los Angeles—as well as one in Shanghai. In addition to being a market leader. From representing Santa Monica’s first LEED homes—which subsequently lead the charge of replacing the wasteful ‘flyer box’ in favor of adopting greener marketing practices—to employing demographically-targeted digital advertising— to producing their own quarterly magazine, “Santa Monica DIRT,” their hyper-local approach and innovative global reach continue to make them the trusted voice and authority for home sales North of Montana.

Pence Hathorn Silver is deeply rooted in the Westside. Their presence on Montana Avenue has enabled them to remain extremely accessible for clients and serve as a neighborhood resource. Furthermore, Pence Hathorn Silver shows their active involvement in the community by participating in a host of charitable events and initiatives. They are long-time supporters of the Santa Monica Schools, in addition to the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra, Boys and Girls Club and the Education Foundation.
