Lance Callaghan

Lance Callaghan has a strong background in the field of information security. Lance is currently the Head of Information Security at Pendula, where they started in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Security Engineering at GitLab from September 2022 to February 2023. Lance also served as the Senior Director of Security Architecture at Collibra from January 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining Collibra, Lance held several roles at ServiceNow – The Enterprise Cloud Company. Lance was the Director of Security Engineering and Operations from December 2015 to December 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Regional Director of IT Security, APJ from August 2014 to December 2015, and as a Senior Security Engineer from November 2011 to August 2014.

Lance's earlier experiences include working as a Security Architect at Commonwealth Bank from February 2011 to November 2011, and various roles at Novell, including Cloud Presales from June 2010 to February 2011, Principal Consultant from February 2002 to June 2010, and Technical Support Engineer from May 1999 to February 2002.

Lance Callaghan completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, where they studied from 1986 to 1992. Later on, they pursued a Masters degree in Networking and System Administration at Charles Sturt University between 2005 and 2009, specializing in the field of Networking and Security.
