Pendulee is an award-winning, woman-owned design studio specializing in comprehensive exhibit design, experiential storytelling, and public art solutions. Established in 2016, we partner with museums, cultural institutions, municipalities, and public spaces to transform complex historical, ecological, and community narratives into deeply engaging physical environments.

We believe that exceptional spatial design does more than occupy a room—it builds community, sparks curiosity, and unites people through shared physical experiences. From human-scale outdoor game boards and interpretive trail systems to complex museum galleries, our work bridges the gap between intentional strategy and physical craftsmanship.

We bring a refined, multidisciplinary approach to three-dimensional environments, specializing in:

Museum Exhibition Design: Concept development, spatial planning, and physical narrative curation.

Public Art & Creative Placemaking: Large-scale installations that honor local heritage and encourage community interaction.

Environmental Graphic Design: Highly durable, place-based signage networks engineered for high-traffic and outdoor environments.

Analog & Low-Tech Interactivity: Creating robust, movement-driven interactive elements that favor physical tactile engagement over digital screens.

Since 2016, Pendulee’s work has been recognized on national, state, and local stages. Whether collaborating with major national cultural entities or executing hyper-local municipal installations, we provide senior-level design expertise, rigorous material specifications, and seamless technical coordination from concept to fabrication.
