Michael Herrick

Michael Herrick is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Head of Business Development at Pendulum since November 2023, while also working as a Software Engineer at NetPulse and Open Source. At NetPulse, Michael developed an OpenTelemetry-based tracing tool for Next.js that enhances observability for server-side and static site rendering. Michael contributed to various projects, including an accessibility-focused development tool for Insite AI, an infinite-scroll image display for Optica, and a lightweight chat system for SyncSpace. Prior experience includes a Sales Manager role at PROWONG TEXTILE and founding a translation management company, as well as serving as a Translation Reviewer at Lionbridge. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from American University and a Mandarin Certificate from Peking University, with additional education from Columbia University.
