Lauren Chang has a diverse work experience. Lauren started as a Garden Apprentice at The Forge Garden in 2018, where they learned organic gardening techniques and harvested seasonal crops. In 2019, they continued their apprenticeship at The Forge Garden and implemented Indigenous Gardening techniques, created a learning program for children, and studied symbiotic relationships within garden beds. In the same year, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Santa Clara University. In 2020, Lauren Chang became a Dog Walker for Wag Labs Inc. Lauren then transitioned to Bionova Scientific in 2021, working as a Research Associate until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Research Associate at Pendulum Therapeutics.
Lauren Chang attended Archbishop Mitty High School from 2013 to 2017 and received their High School Diploma during that time. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Santa Clara University from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus in General Biology. In February 2018, Lauren obtained the Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) certification from Santa Clara University.
