Aaron Ogden

Aaron Ogden has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Aaron'smost recent role is as a Senior HPC Systems Engineer at Penguin Computing, where they have been working since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Storage Architect at CGG from March 2018 to May 2020. Before that, they served as a Storage Architect and Senior Systems Engineer at ION Geophysical for 14 years, from April 2004 to March 2018. Before entering the geophysical industry, Aaron worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Unocal from April 2001 to April 2004 and as a Systems Engineer at Enron from September 1999 to April 2001. Aaron began their career as an R&D Engineer at Interliant, where they worked from 1997 to 1999. Throughout their career, Aaron has demonstrated expertise with NetApp, earning the certification of NetApp Certified Data Administrator (cDOT 8.2) and being awarded the title of NetApp Innovator of the Year: Americas in 2014.

Aaron Ogden has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Houston, which they obtained from 1991 to 1997. Aaron also pursued Graduate Studies in Information Systems Management at Harvard University starting from 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Aaron has obtained several certifications. Aaron is a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) from Red Hat, which they obtained in July 2021. Aaron is also a Weka Certified Technical Expert from WekaIO, obtained in October 2020.
